The Village of Port Clements is now accepting payments by credit card for government services such as utility billings, taxes, moorage or other fees.

So that the Village of Port Clements receives 100% of the billed amount, a service fee (which covers the cost of processing the credit card) will be assessed to the paying party. The Village of Port Clements has entered into an agreement with a third party (NxgenCanada) to provide the processing of credit card payments.  The Village does not earn any revenue from the service fee. This payment with service fee option is offered as a service to our residents who wish to pay by credit card while ensuring that residents who do not wish to pay by credit card do not have to cover the costs of providing this service.

For clarity, all payment made will be applied to the oldest outstanding balance first unless expressly stated in the payment “comments” field.

Once you begin the payment process you will be taken to the NxgenCanada secured payment website. Please ensure that you have your folio, PID or street address, for the property you are making a payment for, in advance of beginning the process as well as the amount you wish to pay and your credit card information.

For your security, the information gathered during the payment process is not shared with anyone. The Village of Port Clements will not have access to your credit card information we will just receive your payment.

RETURN POLICY:

Due to the nature of our business, returns should not be needed. If you feel you need a refund for a duplicate or overpayment, please contact our office as soon as possible and we will look into the matter. If the payment in question was made by credit card, the amount of the refund will be credited to the card you used.

Online payments made by credit card take 2-4 business days to process.
